Account Executive

Summary:

ReSource Floor + Care is looking for a full-time Commercial Account Executive.  The successful candidate is entrepreneurial and understands how to work as part of a team.  A rapidly growing organization, we are a unique and fun culture with a clear focus on customer service.  At RFC, you have responsibility and authority and we expect you to provide best-in-class customer service with those tools.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for sales calls on existing customers and development of new customers. The emphasis will be on providing turn-key commercial floor covering services to End Users, Facility Managers, Architects, Designers and Property Managers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Create project proposals.

  • Work with the project team to coordinate RFI's & submittals, order materials and coordinate deliveries, labor, and installation.

  • Follow through by visiting job sites during project delivery.

  • Manage projects in conjunction with the project coordinator or installation supervisor.

  • Help solve problems and ensure that the jobs are installed properly.

  • Work with the project team to ensure paperwork is correct.

Position Essential Duties:

  • Customer service focus…first and always!

  • Market and sell commercial flooring installation services to businesses in the Charlotte Metro.

  • Participate in account trade shows, corporate events, networking events and related activities.

  • Communicate with all team members as needed.

  • Act as a single point of contact and hold responsibility for all aspects of projects.

  • Work with RFC leadership to ensure project profitability.

Basic Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong creative and critical thinking; self-starter

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Proficient math and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with initiative and independence as well as in a team environment

  • Must be willing to travel locally with regularity.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Compensation:

  • Base salary + commission.

  • Company provided cell phone.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

  • Professional appearance and disposition

  • Previous experience in the commercial flooring industry is preferred.
